I tow with a 2004 GMC Yukon XL, 5.3 v8 engine. Have put on over 100 k on it towing , and now have 210 k with no problems. Have gone to Alaska. And all 48 lower states. I would recommend to go big.

you might want to keep the cushions under the mattress for added warmth, and also in case you want to sell your trailer later.

CB radios are a good idea for a caravan, so you can contact each other. We went with 7 scamps and used our CB's and it worked out great.

Welcome, we have a '99 casita17 FD, and love it. Have put thousands of miles on it including trips to Alaska, Nova Scotia, from west cost with no problems. Enjoy.
