Removing carpet glue from ensolite, or covering it up.

Having had tried to remove carpet glue from wood, I know this is not a simple task and that involved a heat gun and scraper, neither of which I suspect are approved tools to use with ensolite.

I'm a little embarrassed - it looks better from afar than closer up. The paint is badly peeling and I am pretty sure the stripes are duct tape! But we love it regardless. It will get fixed one day...
