The sign with the arrow going into Rest Stops says Trucks/RV's and my tax dollars are paying for that Rest Stop.
Rest Stops are much safer in my opinion, then Walmart. To each his own!

SD bed mod

I used 1x6 inch pieces of wood laid side be side with small gaps to allow air circulation under my Visco 8 inch Memory Foam Mattress. I also downsized to a twin mattress to give me more floor space...

I gave up on that locking knob on the Fantastic fan and stretched a bundgie cord over the top of the roof to hold it down when I had an ALiner.

The bed in the SD-17 is just big enough for me and my 30 lb. dog. I can't imagine trying to sleep in it with another adult, especially when you can only enter and exit from one side.
