HI LIsa, check out the state by state requirements for trailer brakes. Some states require them at 1000 lbs, 1500, 2000, etc. So you will need to adhere to what your state requires.

My Trillium 4500 doesn't have this interior drain. Mine is on the outside of the Trilly and I connect it to a grey water tank. Perhaps your Trillium had a toilet/bathroom sink up front at one time....
