5th wheel hitch

We found it was nearly impossible to get the trailer on and off until we greased the ball and the hitch up really well. Now it works much better.

I was all prepared. I had my 7/8" socket on the wrench ready to go. First time! On the video - it seems he goes straight into the plug with his prescribed 7/8" socket wrench for the hot water...

Clothing storage solution

My Scamp fifth wheel is not the deluxe version and we didn't realize we would not be getting the forward cabinets in the bed area. I solved the clothing storage problem by hanging a closet sweater...

Making that fifth wheel mattress work

Ours is not the deluxe model, but the mattress is still challenging as it is. I like a foam topper and a mattress pad, so I simply (not so simple, really) wrapped the mattress pad around the foam...

Wondering if I need to cover my Scamp fifth-wheel in winter while still living in New York. I know I will need to cover it in Arizona - because of the sun? - but we have one more year in New York...
