The stripe is a sticker, and yes it is registered as a 77 so maybe this one was produced and sold in the same year, seems a lot have been registered as later models than they actualy are.

The stripe seems to be original? The original brochures that came with the trailer show it with the blue stripe, but they are not dated, one shows the trailer hooked up to a Plymouth or Dodge...
