Ventura/ Boler windows not closing
I have replaced the crank mechanism and seals on one of my windows but the middle pane still does not close. The other 2 panes on the jalousie window close tightly. What should I look at next?

Check the 2 metal brackets that connect the pane to the lifter arms. These tend to break, and if BOTH brackets are broken, the pane won't move when you turn the window crank.

I was wondering about them. I think they are called hinges? Anyway, one side of the pane does close but the side that will be facing the trailer front does not.
Could the arm be bent? I don't think the hinges are broken or bent.
When I try to close the window on the workbench, the whole window seems to torque and become out of square

Several of the "Hehr Hinge Torque Brackets" on my Trillium are broken in half. They are formed by casting, and are relatively brittle.

Do you know if replacements can be purchased?

Yes, if you search on the internet you'll find several suppliers. First have to determine the exact match part, and that might require contacting suppliers. In the US, some of the suppliers are:
- Pellandent
- Vintage Trailer Supply
- Interstate RV Metal and Supply

Some of the hinges or window frames have extra holes, moving the screw to a different hole will adjust window alignment in or out. You are looking for something like the grouping of 3 in this picture.
If you are lucky, you will only have to adjust the affected pane. Compare the screw locations on all the panes to get an idea if someone has tinkered already.

Great timing, Roy. I am going to tackle the windows again today and I will have a look. Thanks.

Glad I made it in time Patricia. I debated posting since your posted almost 2 weeks ago. Then I considered that someone may have the same problem in the future.
There is not much difference in the spacing of the holes and it looks like it will have no effect. Moving the screw is like putting a shim under a door hinge in your house.

I just checked and there are 3 holes with the screw in the middle one. i am thinking I will move the screw to the bottom one. Or should it go up?

Try one way, if it gets worse go the other.
Remember you have two side ends to the window. One is hitting early and the other late. You might have to adjust both ends in opposite directions.
I'd have someone inside slowly closing the window so you can see which pane and which side hits first and go from there.
