Farewell to my fifth-wheel

This bittersweet article about life and Scamp ownership appeared in the Minneapolis Star Tribune today.
I found it to be a good read and post the link if you are interested.
Enjoy...

To everything there's a season, so farewell to my fifth-wheel - StarTribune.com

Got the T-shirt

Great story. Been there, done that and got the T shirt. This can also apply to your job and other hobbies. I was a stagehand, after working Cat's and other shows for up to 20 shows I don't want to even listen to the soundtracks. With my other job I would go to Savannah Ga. for two weeks every year for over 25 years during St. Patrick's day celebration, that got old too. I sailed and had a sailboats for over 40 years as a hobby. I gave up boating about 4 years ago. When the fun becomes work it's time to move on.

This was a great article. I bet this Scamp will have a new owner and a new season in it's long life. It will take the new owners on their adventures and discoveries.

Terrific artical written by a long time scamp traveler. I relate to his experiences and feelings he has for his beloved trailer. Thankfully I'm nowhere near the decision time we all come to when life has to take a new direction.

Travel on traveler and may happiness and adventure follow you to the end of days.
