Boler, 1972 for Sale

Beautiful 1972 Boler Fiberglass "egg" camper for sale.
One of the few American made Bolers before the factory was destroyed. Serial number 5222.
Exterior in great shape. Re-glassed, bolt and rivet holes plugged. Interior cleaned out and re-painted (bed liner material). Think of it as an ultra clean canvas to build to your liking.
Hate to let it go but do not have time to build it out properly. Rather someone use it.

Mike, is this Boler a 13' or 17' wide body and what is the price?

I love the color. Any chance I can have the paint code? I've been going crazy trying to figure out the right color. Beautiful by the way.

AZnative, the color is Toyota Classic Silver Metallic...
1F7, if I'm correct...

It looks JUST like one I JUST sold a couple weeks ago!
Same year.
Same color.
Same everything, in fact.

It appears good ole' capitalism is alive and well.

Good luck with the sale, buddy!
All the best to ya.

Glad Brian responded. If your intent was to buy it as a flip then don't pass it off as "rather someone use it." Not when you're nearly doubling the price. Makes it sound shady. Either way it's a nice trailer and I hope you find a buyer who can finish off the great work that Brian started.

Brian, he may need some of your resto pics to add to his.... just to prove he doesn't have time to finish it. Think it's registered in his name now ? Had the same thing happen with a class C. Nine months later some guy calls me saying he just bought it and it was in my name. Nice guy just caught in the middle and we got it straight with the DMV.

Hello all, I replied to Brian privately as well, true I do not have time to finish it properly. Brian did a fabulous job of the Reno thus far. My wife found a Scamp a week later (after searching for 18 months, when it rains it pours) with a finished interior. With 2 kids we just wanted to get it into using an egg right away. Sold the boler and gave parts from scamp we would not use. Too bad, the boler has more panache and an eye popping finish. Like I said time is more important at this point for us. Strange timing. Be well all

Greetings- I am the one who bought this from Mike. I am really excited to have her... Yes, it's a girl! I named her Sofie. Mike and his family were a pleasure to deal with...and I have forgiven him for buying the scamp. We were actuall on our way to see it when we got a call that it had been sold! Mike was #1 looker and I was #2 looker but didn't know it until we actually met - too funny!!!

Brian, I would love to chat with you and see some pictures of your renovation. I am also chronicling our process. I absolutely love it ! I am thinking of lightening the inside top half up by painting it white. Can that interior lining be painted over?

Cannot wait to show her off!!!

Hi Becky,

I'm glad to know "she" went to a good home.
Maybe it is ok to believe in happy endings.

As far as painting the interior, I'm not sure. The coating is a product called "Rhino Liner".
Maybe check their website or give 'em a call.

You wanna see the rebuild?
You're sure about this?
She was real rough and ugly when I found her.

An old friend used to say,
"A little plaster, and a little paint,
Makes a lady what she ain't!"
;p

Here's the link
Feel free to continue it there, I'd love to see how things come together...
Have fun with her!

PS
Mike...it's all good.

Hey Brian, do you recall where you got those cool marker lights? I picked up some nice LED ones, but these on your former trailer look so much nicer! Thanks.

The marker lights are (I think) 2" LED truck marker lights. The "eyebrows" were separate from the lights. They just attach to the light grommets with two little screws. Don't remember where though...just search around, you'll find 'em!

Good luck!
