putting 15 inch wheels on a boler??!?

hey guys

Tried to put a set of 13 inch wire wheels on my project but they are reverse offset and would not fit at all.

I'm looking at these wheels, 15 inch old school wired look, wondering if anybody knows they will fit on the boler. The bolt pattern is the same 5 on 4.5 which is fine, but stuffing it under the wheel well....will she go on? has anybody had luck with this?

thanks

Because of the fender skirt, you're going to need zero offset wheels. I've got 15" wheels on my Scamp, because I changed the axle to a 45 degree down. The zero offset wheels fit fine. YMMV

I was going to say that I took my 13" wheels off to paint them, and because my Boler rides real low I could barely get them out of the wheel well. I'm sure that 15" would not work without a new axle, but maybe 14" would work.

I saw a Boler with 14's that matched his early Mustang. He had to cut the wheel well opening a bit larger but it looked right with the larger tires. You may have to add spacers to raise the body from the axle so that the tires don't rub up under the wheel well.

I think ill just powdercoat the wheels that are on there, red, and slap come old school mooneys hubcaps on her....for the time being untill i sort it out.

Sucks i dont want to get a new axle and such at this time....really wanted these wheels to go on tho, i wonder if these standard wheels in 13 inch would fit

But, then maybe you'd delay a new axle for waaaay to long just because you like the 13" wheels that you bought... unless that's what you wanted to stay with....
