New boler owner

Hi everyone, so I have question. Just got a 69 13 boler that I am redoing. Is it just as good to put a new plywood floor under the exciting one or just replace it?i see the edges of the old on are sort it fiberglassed into the plywood , is that right?

It's rotting under the bed, I haven't gutted it yet but, there is probably more.

Welcome Scott
great to see another Albertian join.

This is not specifically on replacing the floor but since you are going to have to do some major repairs (not a surprise on a 40 year old trailer) also look atthe other problem areas common to Boler's

How bad is the rot? Some will recommend you do a frame off repair. Unless it is a small localised rot you prob will have to do it. It's not a technically difficult job if you have basic mechanical abilities. That will also give you a chance to inspect/repair the frame and change out the axle.. which is most likely shot if original.
