Short answer: No, due to the fact that the joining of the shell halves is accomplished by bridging the vertical seam with glass matt and resin on the inside centerline. You can see this construction feature by removing the central headliner. Long answer: Thru-hulls such as roof-mounted A/C, fans, and vents have a significant likelihood of leaking over the lifetime of the trailer as do
windows and doors. The
Burro center seam, judging by
leaks reported by
Burro owners, does not. I have seen at least one report of a leak in the center join in a
UHaul of similar construction. I surmise that almost any "unitized" structure can be defeated by impact damage and trailers do get rear-ended occasionally. Debonding of the glass bridging the seam would certainly encourage water entry.
