Yaaay! I get to be the first to congratulate you all Reace. She does look a little naked now though, doesn't she? Poor girl! Looking forward to seeing her in all her finery and with her windows etc.

Proud to be an Escape owner.

Of the customers who have already placed orders, we know there will be at least one 5.0 at the Oregon Gathering this July!

Very exciting! Interesting too: good floorplan, well equipped. Looks like standard 5W pin hitch. With 0.88 US exchange it looks like $21k. I look forward to hearing more in time...

Happy trails,
-Bob

With Escape apparently back to factory distribution, it would be good to know which RV shows will feature the new 5.0 on display... I don't see a list on the website. Any plans yet, Reace?

Reace confirmed in the topic Escape 5th Wheel Layout that this is a true fifth-wheel coupling (specifically "a kingpin as dimensioned in SAE Standard J700").

You got my interest for sure.

1. When do you think it will be available?
2. What price range are you targeting?
3. Is the length measured from end of trailer to tip of front where bed is?
4. What do you expect it to weigh?
5. What size tires are you planning?

Thanks, Donna,

I was in such a hurry to place the post because the wife was ready to leave for shopping I did not have time to look at their website.

It looks like the unit is made like the Casita, in that there is two halves and the bottom half is a complete fiberglass shell, as is the top half. That way when the flooring is laid down inside it is not exposed to the elements like some trailer s are. Do you think this is correct?

I assume the size is measured from the front of the figer shell to the rear of the shell, Maybe Reace can answer that one.

I'll look on their website for the options and costs, like the cost of the A/C and other items.

I suspect the total out the door cost in U.S. dollars will be around $25,000 with options added???
