SOLD For Sale - 1978 13' Burro Travel Trailer $3500

**REDUCED** $3500

We are moving to Germany and need to sell our 1979 Burro 13' fiberglass travel trailer. We have owned it since 2010, and have put some work into restoring it. It has a clean title, and a one-of-a-kind custom paint job. The interior is cozy and comfortable, with vinyl plank flooring. It comes with a mini refrigerator, air conditioner, space heater, a camping toilet, and the stove works. It has a sink, but no faucet for running water. All the windows are Plexiglas, and original to the Burro. The front window does have a crack, which has been taped over, but it does not leak, or affect the operation of the window. We replaced the coupler on the trailer tongue after the old one failed. There is a hole in the fiberglass, about 9 inches in diameter on the front right of the camper, which happened after the tongue popped off of the ball and ran into the receiver of out truck. We have placed a temporary patch on it until we can fix the fiberglass. All in all, it's a great little camper, and ready to hit the road!

The camper is currently located in Ludington, Michigan with my brother in law. We are located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and we will not have time to pick up the Burro from Michigan. Anyone interested in purchasing the camper will need to pick it up in Michigan.

Feel free to contact me directly through this forum, and I will give you my phone number if you would like to talk about the camper.

**I do need to correct the year of the camper from my previous post. I initially listed it as a 1979 model, but it is instead a 1978 model. I have also attached more pictures of the camper.

Fabulous paint selection

That has got to be the prettiest Burro I've ever seen.
The exterior of a Burro is a work of art.

This trailer is awesome. Where ever did you buy the flooring? I want some.

Thank you for the compliment! My wife designed the paint scheme and decorated the interior.

It's vinyl plank flooring that we ordered from Home Depot. It's called African Wood Dark.

Do you think a Chrysler Town and Country Mini Van would tow your Burro?

I believe a Chrysler Minivan would tow the Burro. The camper weighs about 900 pounds empty, and I recommend checking your owners manual for towing capacity.

Very nice exterior. Are you planning on fixing the hole or will that be left to the new owner? Thanks!

Unfortunately, we will not fix the hole in the fiberglass. We are neck deep in alligators trying take care of things before we leave. That is something the new owner will have to remedy, which one of the reasons we reduced the price.

Here is a thought, for what it's worth.

If someone put a strong structural patch on this damage and added some sort of storage box in front of the patch, the damage would not be noticeable and you would have more storage.

Patching the hole and getting everything to look good can be done, but it would require someone with excellent fiberglass repair skills.

Good question Jack but after seeing a bunch of trailers listed for sale with different problems, this one to me is minimal. Look at how many have sold with floor or sagging issues. I like your idea about a storage box. Someone should be jumping on this one.

I agree. Fibreglass work is easy to learn, this is a very nice trailer. The price is reasonable. I think this is a good deal.

I had a 2000 Chrysler Town and country. Towed my 1200lb playpac wonderfully!

Are you sure about the weight at 900 dry? I have a small hatchback so it's a serious concern...
