For veterans of Burro floor replacement.

I am in the middle of replacing the floor in our Burro-13, like so many have done before. All is going well, with the old rotten floor removed and the templating process started. My question for those who have done this is where do you make the seams in the typical 4 piece replacement plywood floor?

I plan to make the "D" shaped front and rear sections with 2 additional sections running front to rear, and to ship-lap all but joints. But how far back did you run your front piece? If it is too short, the joint is under the front seat box support and difficult to work with. And if it is further back the seam will be right in the doorway where it has a better chance of showing. So where did you put yours?

thanks in advance,
Rick
