BTW: Craig's list is of very little help to anyone. Without a court order they won't do squat, and even with one the perps will be long gone before they do.....[/QUOTE]

Bob, thats both our laws for you. Its to protect yours and my privacy - not a Craigs list issue.

The trailer for moving modular house was stolen just down the road from us. Next door neighbor saw the pickup that hauled it away in broad daylight. He noticed because it was may too much trailer for the size of truck. About 40ft of heavy steel frame and multiple axles.

So yeah thieves are pretty outrageous in what they will do.

With China's demand for metal, scrap prices are higher than in forever.

The real perp here is the scrap yard that buys that load of parts, "No Questions Asked" for about 1/2 the going price.

In SoCal they even steal man hole covers and does every scrap yard ask where they came from????

Ours does not have window curtains, only blinds. So the one you guys found with blank white spared tire cover should be not outs. I believe the thief would not install the curtain. You guys are so kind and we really appreciate all you did for us. Please keep looking for us. Thank you!
