13ft Scamp cover

Does anyone know where I can get a cover for my 13ft Scamp that has an a/c unit on the top. I'd like it to repel water and breathe. I've seen them at campers world but not sure if they will fit with the a/c on the top.
Thanks

I have little doubt that this is the best one to get.. they will make it to fit the AC.. but it's about $540

Thanks Gordon2. WOW! I never imagined they would be so costly. I thought one would be around $150-$200. That one is very nice looking, and I suppose being sunbrella fabric would be very durable.

There are certainly covers available in that price range which is why I suggest looking for the threads where owners of the covers report on them to see if they would suit you.
I have already decided that the cheaper ones are not for me.. but YMMV.

You could also go over to the "other forum" and read:

I echo Gordon's suggestion of the Calmark. We have one on our 13 Scamp. Pricey yes, but very good quality material and workmanship and to my mind a better long term investment than a cheaper one that will need to be replaced in the short run.

David, or anyone, I saw a review that said 2 or 3 people were needed to put the cover on a Scamp 16.. can you tell me if one person could do it?

I can only report on a cover for a 13'. Definitely easier when my wife helps, but not especially difficult doing it by myself. Don't know how a 16' would go.

The high cost of these cloth covers is the reason why I put up a $1200 carport. One MAJOR advantage of having it under the carport is its ease to get to at anytime. Also, I'm able to wash/wax it in any weather.

If possible, I would greatly consider a metal carport over the pull-overs. I've been there and done that. I told my wife after the first year and the continual aggravation of the covers, that I was putting up a carport or the Scamp was for sale.

I have one and don't use it

we are in Chapel Hill NC, have a cover for a 13ft scamp. I wish we used it, but our reality is it ain't gonna happen. Yours for $50 plus S/H, let me know, PM me and we can send pictures. Scamp is a 1977, but I think the cover is newer. will have to get it out of box and make sure it is in good shape.

@ David.. thanks
@ Darral... Could not agree more but sometimes a carport (or garage, etc.) is just not possible.

Yessir G2...that's why I said "if possible". IF I had to use a cover though, I wouldnt consider anything else but a "Calmark". The other junk out there wont last but MAXIMUM 1 yr....at least down here in the sunny south.

Yo, Yolanda, yep, still have them

sent pictures to your phone, let me know if you did not get them. There are three pieces, which I find to be a bit of a mystery. Perhaps one for the spare tire and another for the propane tank?
