Scamp 13 cold water faucet

I changed out the cold water faucet on my Scamp to a taller and rotatable faucet. Now we can fill the coffee pot or wash large pans. The faucet is from Amazon # OASD YYSLT00106 - "Easy install Kitchen Faucet - 360 degree rotatable Cold Water Faucet" (brass, made in China, $21.90). Easy direct installation, no mods to the Scamp plumbing, remove the old faucet and screw on the new. I did not use the rubber gaskets, the faucet did not set snugly to the counter top with the gaskets in place.

Good job Terry! That's a worthwhile mod. Glad to see you're still using that Scamp.

Thanks Tom, love our Scamp perfect size for the two of us and Sandi our dog. We have almost 20,000 miles on it and after two years we finally have it set-up the way we like it. I see you moved to Michigan, got out of Illinois just in time. Terry

We liked ours a lot too. In fact we found ourselves spending so much time in it: we sold it and have a 16 on order. I never thought 3 foot-itis would happen, but Joanne fell in love with a 16' she saw in FL Scamp Camp this year. I know we'll miss the 13 though. So much has happened to us since we had all those discussions about yours. Our home in IL was hit by lightning, burned up and was rebuilt. We moved back to MI to be with the rest of our family about a year ago. We're snowbirds now, thanks to the Scamp. Still haven't made the Utah trip, but it's high on the bucket list. I will contact you before we go for some last minute tips.

It's hard to make out your Avatar, but is that a Jeep I see? No more Raptor? We now have a F-150 4x4, and love it.

Yes it is a Jeep. We traded the Raptor in on a JKU Rubicon, much better on the Utah Jeep trails; the Raptor, while I loved it, was just too wide to get to some of the places we wanted to explore. We thought about a 16 but we make 2 trips a year to Utah and the trip over Monarch Pass in Colorado with the 13 is about all the Jeep wants to pull. We also have a F 150 Ecoboost 4x4, great truck but the Jeep is more fun. Now that you have the new 4x4 , Utah is calling, dirt is great fun. Terry
