trillium electrical question

I had to replace the floor of the rear bench and in the process noticed a loose wire. I would like to know where to reattach it. For now I have wrapped it in tape. It is the yellow one with the new black tape.

According to the Trillium wiring diagram, the yellow wire is "unused" and appears to end at the rear curbside tail light. Unless some previous owner used it for something I think I'd assume it was still unused.

Back Up Lights?

Hmmmmm.....

Interesting. Looks like the wire could be used
to wire up some back up/reverse lights?

Thank you so much. I was worried that I had knocked it loose in the reno process.
