Sounds like they are going idle for while till things pick up. You can read more on their front page. Good thing trailers are just their side business.

"With the economic downturn of the industry and to be cost effective for our valued customers, we have decided to postpone the manufacturing of our 17’ and 22’ Oliver Travel Trailers until January 2010"

I hope they can weather it through. It's a really nice trailer. I'd hate to see another one go down.
I figured if I ever won the Lotto I would get one.

Nice product, but not for the price they were asking!

I wish them all the best. However, their prices were just far too prohibitive for me to ever consider buying one of their trailers.

For anyone interested in more of the Oliver story and how they are finding new lines of business to ride out the economy until trailer sales return, we just completed a blog entry based on interviews with lots of Oliver staff during our visit to their factory in May:

As full time RVers living and working out of our Oliver Travel Trailer - we wish them all the best in the future, and couldn't be happier with ours.
