ParkLiner winterized!

Kinda tough without a wastewater tank, but with Gail and a big funnel on the curb side, Gregg on the other with a smaller funnel with a long flex hose, we done did it. Antifreeze in all the lines and traps. Batteries out and on the trickle charger in my shop.

Found the leak in the closet. Thought it was the clamp being too big, but nope, once the clamp was off, there's a tear in the hose that the clamp was covering that is where the leak is. This is the same leak in our closet that Chandler told me was fixed after our trailer was in the shop in Gibsonville NC for a week this past August.

Tuesday I have off and will hit some plumbing suppliers around here to see if I can buy ABS fittings locally. If not, it's the web. I pretty much know what I need. I think anyways!

Surprised Frank that you are having a hard time finding ABS fittings? Pretty well every home improvement store in these parts sell ABS fittings, including Home Depot which you have in the US as well.

Nope, tried Lowe's and Home Depot yesterday Carol, nuttin at all! They can order stuff, but I would like to see what I am buying. We have a major plumbing wholesaler not far that I will try Tuesday. Things must be quite different out your way!

Interesting, looks like it has to do with some states laws restricting the use of ABS piping. Goes back to some class action cases involving pipes that were made in the 80's and 90's that failed?

By the way, to get the batteries out, you have to remove the new battery box cover, remove the propane tank cover AND remove both propane tanks to get the batteries out. Sheeesh!
