Hello FG Fans,
Put this in google and you'll get a feel for the model...
"1990
bigfoot rv video"
It sure has been nice to join the proud group of
fiberglass RV owners, and I'm sure the kids will be sad, but mom and dad want to build a house.
The trailer is in very good to near excellent condition. It's been well taken care. It needs blinds (the curtains are done,) and a vent cover for the bath. With the
fiberglass floor in the bath, the little rain we see in Phoenix it hasn't been a problem. There are some stains on the linoleum floor. And last, the lacquer below the widows has worn/flaked some through the years. Probably condensation runoff, but the wood isn't warped or rotten. Now all the good news...
17 ft DLX (Deluxe Edition)
3 Beds
4 burner stove with oven (upgrade)
Fiberglass Propane Tank cover (upgrade)
A/C replaced in 2008/9
New hot water heater 2017
Upholstery is original and in excellent condition.
Electronic (12V) tongue jack (with a long throw- extends really far)
Inverter
Inteli Power Converter, 2009
New
paint on the tongue
Entry steps repainted
I repainted the pinstripes on the entry side were it was most faded, the rear side wasn't too bad.
No dents or serious chips that I recall.
Also, I have been able to run the AC with my Yamaha EF2800
Generator.
I've two other units where the AC was just too big and tripped my awesome little gas saving Yamaha (that's also
light weight.)
No
Leaks
The door has had an excellent diamond-plate upgrade that really holds it together. No sag or drag, and looks excellent.
A previous owner treated/painted the lower front of the unit with bedliner (see pic) spray. Works well to prevent rock chips or damage.
I painted that area and the
propane tank covers last year.
It's not quite as pristine as the unit in the video, but it's pretty darn nice.
Oh, it does need the little gas shocks that hold up the front window protector replaced. They are very lightweight models and should be ordered on-line. The autoparts models are too strong. I bet a pair is 30 bucks or less.
We want to sell it and put the money towards a small tractor. When it comes to classics it's hard to know what something worth, so how about you make us an offer. I'll get better pics up later. I have to go, so pardon any typos.
Many Thanks Everyone!
