SOLD: 1999 Burro widebody 17' - $5995
Clean unit in nice condition.. Fully self contained, shower, toilet, heater, sink, stove, fridge etc.
Always non smoker owned, smells nice and clean.. no odors.
This unit does not have Air Conditioning.. It is well ventilated as is, but roof AC could be added.
Solid chassis, good tires / bearings, good propane system, recent battery.
YES it has electric brakes, YES they work perfectly.
Camper weighs 1900 and hitch weight is just 125 pounds. 2" ball, 7 pin round connector.
Comes with many extras.. wheel blocks, jack pad, tire covers, camper cover, new mirror extensions, new spare tire cover, fire extinguisher and more.
Interior is mostly stock.. small cabinet and microwave added and is securely mounted.
Could be removed if you wanted to reclaim 3rd sleeping position.
Floor has been covered with nice 1/2" Birch.. no floor issue, this just looks nicer.
Flooring is finished, its not just raw wood. (covered with cardboard right now to protect it)
Camper is in New Hampshire about 20 minutes east of Manchester in Fremont.
I am 60 minutes from downtown Boston, MA.
I am 75 minutes from Worcester, MA.
I am 3 hours from Bridgeport, CT.
NO TITLE is available for the camper. NH does not issue titles on vehicles 15 years or older.
I have the previous Massachusetts registration, and the current NH registration.
I also have a VIN verification form filled out by our local chief of police.
Those items, as well as the bill of sale from me to you are what you will get for paperwork.
Comes with sales brochure, owners manual, all original paperwork and 3 keys. Locks work as they should.
I work from home full time so I can show the camper about any time.. Feel free to call / text me to set up a showing.
Camper is ready to tow anywhere.. First serious looker will buy.. its a nice unit.
Thanks for looking.. I'm sure whoever gets this will be pleased.
I know I do not have a post record here, but you can check my feedback on ebay..
I am turbokev on there.. member since 1999 with over 2000 positive feedback, never a negative.

Beautiful unit and good luck with the sale. Weight is about 1,000 lbs short though. Ours, loaded, is 2800. But it's still a beauty.
cheers

Hi Ian, thanks for listing a more realistic weight..
I was going by the sales brochure..
I assumed it must be a 'dry' weight..
I do know this, my 4.7 Durango can't even tell it's back there when towing

Do you know if your Burro has the insulation between the shells? Should be 2" pink fiberglass. From what I have read some do, some don't depending on when and where they were manufactured. Also some years in seems as if it was an option.

I believe it does.. It is my understanding that the units that came with the factory installed electric heater automatically got the insulation..
I'll see if I can confirm for 100% sure by taking a light down and peeking inside there..
I also wanted to clarify the extra smaller bed at the front..
It absolutely can be used as a bed still.. The cabinet takes up 12" of space so that
smaller bed ends up being 6 feet long by 30" wide, and yes I have the cushions..
The rear bed is the full 7 feet by 54" and pops up in to a U shaped couch with center table.

Adding information..
Yes the trailer has black and grey tanks.. as well as fresh water tank.
See below post for probable amounts.. the owners manual doesn't clearly state capacity.

Kevin:
Mine is from a year later. Black water tank on mine is 8 gal, fresh water about 17 gal, gray water about 17 gallons.
I hadn't heard that they could be had with an electric heater. The smallest Atwood propane heater seems to have been the standard.
I suspect they took whatever liberties with what they put into these trailers depending on what they had available or what the owner asked for. Looks like a nice unit.

Thanks for adding that info about the tanks.. The owners manual is very vague LOL..
For example, it lists the grey tank as "a little larger than" the black tank, but doesn't actually list a gallon amount..
Same with the fresh water.. it says the hot water heater holds 6 gallons..but doesn't mention fresh water amount anywhere.

Adding a few pictures and answering a couple questions that have come in..
Yes.. Hookup hoses are included.. as is one of those accordian type hose holders for the waste hose.
Shower is 6' from floor to ceiling then dips down 5 inches (see picture for clarification)
Wheel well area also acts as a bench to sit on in the shower while washing up.
...and here is the storage and lighting over each end of the U shaped couch/dinette/larger bed

I have confirmed the camper is fully insulated~
More pictures.. Black switchplate is where you turn on the water pump, also has a 12V power socket.
I confirmed it is an electric heater that is thermostat controlled..
Also a picture of the fridge is below..
Here's the outside where the water hooks up and fills.. and the vent areas for the fridge and hot water heater.
Here's the tire tread.. and the underside view of the axle.. not rusty.
and finally, the VIN tag..
