Bigfoot cabinet removal

Can anyone performing/has performed a restoration on a Bigfoot trailer give some insight concerning removing the overhead and floor cabinets? I have a wall area in need of repair due to water damage and am having difficulties determining how the cabinets can be removed (screwed/riveted into the wall paneling, ceiling, etc.). I have a 2001 BF 17' trailer. Thanks in advance!

I did a reno on my 89 Bigfoot, the cabinets were all just screwed in, there is plywood embedded into the ceiling and the walls at certain points, depending on the floor plan. If you're going to remove the upper cabinets I would probably support the ceiling somehow while you do the repairs, especially if you have a A/C on the roof. You don't want the insulation to crack because you will certainly lose the integrity of the ceiling

Hey I will give you my 2 cents here. I have been restoring my '81 B17. Front cabinets are a breeze. Start at the small one closest to the door and work your way around to the kitchen. It has to be taken down in order as they are screwed to each other. I didn't seem to need support but I have not gotten past the middle yet. There are small strips of wood in the ceiling for mounting as well as in the walls. I noticed that the first small cabinet beside to door had nothing in the walls to screw into, so when it goes back together I will put a strip in to support the cabinet. Hope this helps!
