Here's a 1972 Cloud in Tucson. It was posted a couple of days ago for $1800, with the two exterior photos. Today I see that two interior photos have been added and the price has changed to $2500. Not sure what that means...

http://tucson.craigslist.org/cto/956493791.html

I believe these were made with the same molds as the Burro/Uhaul trailers (and maybe preceded them); it looks like this one has only partial double-wall construction, with the double part being up top, and horizontally quilted insulation below (as well as in the typical center strip where there is carpet on the Burro/Uhaul. There are a couple of additional photos in the ad.

Probably weighs a bit more than 600 lbs!

Good find!

Reminds me of that fella awhile back that advertised the Casita in GA. It was advertised for a really good price for one week. Then, if it didn't sell he was going to clean it up and it would be $2000 higher. Either that thing was a real mess or he was a Master Cleaner....

Along those lines, I always love the ads that list a bunch of problems that would "take about five minutes to fix." Suuure. (And if they would really take five minutes, why wouldn't most sellers do them and then sell the trailer for hundreds to thousands more.)

I've been car shopping and I just came across an ad that cracked me up. It said, "Good condition Needs to be cleaned which I will do if you want just let me know." Ummm, no, that's okay, I'll just take it filthy for the same price

Not quite "one of a kind". Wish ours was in Tucson! Just came in from brushing off 3 in. of snow.

Yep Raya, the hull is double from the lower fabric to the wide channel in the top. Our top fabric was replaced with Formica!

Hard to say what factory weight was as ours is a much heavier custom replacement.

The previous owner had heard that the molds went to Burro when Cloud folded.

Thanks for the additional info, Bob. I remember your story when you went to pick up your Cloud. I'm from Minnesota (and Wisconsin)

It didn't register on me what it meant then, but I do remember seeing what looked like "oilcloth" on the lower walls of your Cloud. Is there insulation of some type behind that on yours? I wonder if the channels in the cquilting on this one were meant to be cthe insulation (and is one original and one not; or just mfg. evolution?). Maybe Ray Olecko was the first Ensolite user on eggs

I think I might like to have a Cloud someday

How long does it take to clear out the mess and junk from a trailer before you take pictures of the interior? How many times have we seen pics of trailers for sale on eBay which included interior photos showing the trailer full of the user's junk and FILTHY?!? Considering you're gonna want to keep your camping junk anyway - why not clear it out before you take the photos and make your trailer look a little better? Makes sense to me - yet people don't do it.
