Northern CA Bigfoot owners

Hey- my wife and I have had a few Bigfoot trailers, this is our newest acquisition. 1988 Bigfoot 19ft center bath. New to 5th wheel trailers, but we both drive tractor/trailers, so not a new concept in general. Looking forward to getting her outfitted and into the wild!

Welcome aboard Tom. As you two are truckers, you get elected to answer all the backing up questions from now on .

Love those Bigfoot 5th wheelers and there aren't that many around. Guess I've seen 2 or three. Congratulations

interior shots and mods

Here is a shot of the interior (we were moving in) and a shot of the rear mounted battery box needed because we run 2 12v marine batteries which would not fit in the stock location behind the 5th wheel box. We have since also lifted the camper 4" to match the height of the 4wd Dodge we pull it with. Pics of subframe and spring relocation to come.

camping at Bodega Bay

Had to post up some pics of the rig after we took it out for a shakedown overnighter in Bodega.

bigfoot subframe and lift

Here is a shot of our newly raised trailer- had a subframe installed and got another 4" of lift to match the Dodge's ride height. Not gonna be dragging anything on this rig! Also got batteries relocated to rear bumper (using the old area for storage) and added a fantastic fan. Loving this little 5th wheel!
