Hi from new Scamp owners

Hi. We've been visiting this site and are joining up now that we've ordered our Scamp 16'. We like all the fiberglass RVs, and we settled on the one that happens to fit our current needs.

This sounds like a really fun group for sharing information and stories! Just want to thank everyone for their helpful advice.

Welcome to the group/forum! 😊

I think that everyone would say "You are welcome!" for any help and insights that we
might have provided.

When is your delivery date?
What state (or part of the country) do you live in? (Your profile doesn't say.)
Are you thinking about attending a Rally this year?

Again ...... Welcome aboard! 😊

Ray

Welcome Mark and Cindy! Glad you found this helpful. Looks like you'll have a short trip for your pick up. I think you'll be happy with your Scamp. Now start reserving some campsites!

Welcome to the forum!

You're done with the fun part (choosing and ordering). Now the hard part: waiting. Start planning some trips to make the time pass!

May your new Scamp bring you many years of enjoyment exploring our great land.

Yes. Definitely check out the calendar here on FGRVs for rallies and events. And if you're out Colorado way at the end of July, come join us at the Rocky Mountain Egg Rendezvous.

Thanks everyone! We'll check out the Rally calendar, and we've already made our first camp reservation. And yep, it'll be a short trip to pick up our Scamp since we're based in Minnesota.

Great job on getting your Scamp. We are elated with our 16, and my wife is feverishly now working on new cushion covers. She has already covered the boring tan curtains, so this fabric will complement the curtains. Hope to see you on the Scamp Forum site!

Welcome aboard ! There's a wealth of helpful information here you can glean from while you wait. We just got our 13' last week (2011) and can't wait to start "making her our own". Also helps keep our mind off this winter weather... The Rallies look like a lot of fun too.

Please check on the rally at Kathio State Park in MN the first weekend of May.

We brought our new Scamp 13 Deluxe home in -9 degree weather at the end of December. We can hardly wait for spring to come and to meet some of the Scamp community.

Hope your trailer brings you many years of exciting adventures.

Where do you live? My home...St. Charles, MO, just west of St. Louis. We have a very clean 16 ft. Scamp we are now redecorating the interior. My wife is a talented one with a sewing machine and has already made the curtains, and now making the cushions into a pretty blue material. The plaid cushions did not please her, and the curtains were absolutely boring! So, she sewed over them using the original boring tan. The new colors will pop and please us beyond words!

We are in Minneapolis.

We saw your new curtains on the SOI website where we are also new lifetime members. We are partial to blue also–thanks for the peak into your Scamp 16. We look forward to future pics on the cushions when your highly skilled interior decorator finishes her updating work.

Our Scamp cushions are in work right now. A beautiful blue pattern is the fabric of choice. Cushions should be done in weeks to come.
