Thanks Walt,
This could be interesting checking out the Curtiss museum since we plan to also stop by the Wright-Patterson Air Force museum as we return via Ohio.

We will be staying on site 48 Friday and Saturday nights.

I called the number Saturday & was surprised someone picked up. Very nice lady, took our credit card info, assured me we would be with the other eggs, sent me a confirmation email, but I still don't know my site number! We're there Friday & Saturday nights as well.

We've been to the Curtis Museum a couple times, even had dinner there one time!

Dinner eh? Nice. I definitely have a return to the Curtiss on my bucket list. Much too much fascinating stuff for a single trip. And yes, it is a double "s".

Cecelia probably put you beside the restrooms Frank Just kidding, you are likely going to be in the smaller sites near all the activity but with a view of the river. I can't believe we got 54, only two sites from Alf (don't know whether that's good or bad though)

You'll be ok if you and/or Alf don't get mixed up and go into the wrong camper.
I've been to the Wright Patterson Museum. Leave yourself plenty of time and plan on going back because you can't appreciate the whole thing in one day.
Been looking for a couple of Coca Cola items for the Coca Cola Campers. I'll be sporting my Escape hat all summer.

My Sister and Brother in Law decided to join us from DE too. They only have a tent right now until Alf can talk them into an Escape, so they will be on site 80.

Making our first "real" appearance as fiberglass campers!

Two years ago in September, my wife tagged along with her parents at the Wine Escape (her first rally) and fell in love with all the fiberglass trailers in attendance. She loved the abundance of Escapes, but was completely sucked in by all of the tiny vintage Boler, Trillium, Play-Pac and Compact Jr. trailers. Even more than that, she thoroughly enjoyed the camaraderie and friendships developed at the event.

For the next year, I endured countless stories about the rally - the fun, the food, the friendships, the scrapple... And after some convincing (or nagging), I decided to tag along in 2015. You may remember that we still didn't have a trailer of our own, so we stayed at the nearby B&B and ventured over to the campsite daily. I didn't expect to leave the rally with "vintage camper brain" as my wife had the previous year, but that's exactly what happened, which only reinforced my wife's feelings on the matter.

So, I'm happy to say that this year, we will be in attendance on site 56 with our brand new (to us) 1974 Boler 13. We have a bit of personalizing to do on the trailer, but we look forward to making it our own, and we look forward to seeing everyone in September!

What? You bought a trailer? I suppose I better get my grease gun out and put a few pumps in the Viking sewing machine because if I know your wife, and believe me, I do, you'll need new curtains, new cushion covers, and numerous modifications de frabrique. A new thread is in order, Tents for sale, millennials go fiberglass. Don't buy a ___________ I got one around here if I can find it.

Iowa Dave, no doubt there will be enough to keep the best seam-person busy for a few weeks at least. You'll be hearing from me for sure for tips and equipment.

Alf, that's a handsome trailer - it makes me pretty thirsty. Not sure Teresa would let me do that, so I'm just hoping to get to mount the propane to my liking. I think I'm just taking direction at this point though.
