New surfside triple e

Hello there! My wife and I just purchased a 1977 Triple e surfside trailer (TM-14) today. It is all original interior and not in bad shape but needs so tlc. We will eventually be doing a full restoration on it and look forward to finding out how certain things are done like what paint to use mounting points inside the trailer and so on. Just learning to navigate the site and trying to find how to restore the interior panels or what to use. If anybody reads this and has some insight please let us know. My wife and I are eager to get started restorations and will post updates as we go.

The best way to get a warm reception here is to post pictures of your new baby, uh, I mean trailer.

Speaking from personal recent experience, I’d recommend having a trailer place or welder have a look at your frame - ours separated rather suddenly around where the a-frame and body join. Given this was a re-call issue for the similar trillium, I wonder if it’s just a general design issue? We had fish plates and bars welded to the sides and it made it 4000 more kilometres without budging
