Hello, last year I purchased a FG trailer & worked on resealing
windows & belly band, thanks to all the posts (FYI - I used PVC trim board as my backer instead of wood). Put a box up front, relocated spare to rear; upgraded bumper.
I'm currently fiddling with the roof, using adjustable tension rods, contemplating glassing in holes here & there & fixing the door alignment. The frame is good possibly not problematic. I know from previous posts, poor door alignment/ roof problems could result from frame issues. PO put on larger
tires that I don't think are trailer rated.
I'd be curious about interior shelving/upper cabinets. Mine has the closet by the door & overheads at the galley, but I've seen pics of Trills with upper shelving. Do they help with the structural support like the closet & galley? I'd like to build some; hoe do you affix plywood to FG so you can mount such things?
I'm considering realignment of door hinges, but don't know if that's possible &/or how to get at them from behind. See attached pics re the door.
Any info/direction would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Judi
