Pacer Ceiling Fan Vent

We recently bought a 1974 Perris Pacer. We are completely re-doing EVERYTHING! I am looking to buy a replacement ceiling fan vent. Any suggestions out there from someone who has replaced one before? Brand?

Thanks,
alice

Hi Scott, welcome to FiberglassRV. We're glad you're here.

I don't own a Perris Pacer, I'm a Scamp gal... but I'm betting someone will be along shortly.

However, you'll find there are two brands that seem to come up to the top when discussing electric fan vents: Fantastic fans and MaxxAir

Fan for Perris Pacer

Hi Alice,

We are working on fixing up our recently purchased 1988 Perris Pacer, and one of the first things we did was replace the vent. We bought a Fantastic Fan. Just make sure you get the right model--they have a bunch of options that affects how much sticks out the top of the roof or the ceiling. (But the standard size of the vent matched the dimensions of the Fantastic Fan--which made installation pretty easy and straight-forward.)

It works great. We picked it based on reviews we read on this site.

Good luck!

Janine

I have a basic Fantastic Fan and really like it but if I were to get another I would make sure I got the one with the auto rain sensor and more speed settings - even on low mine seems to be a little to fast. Also make sure you order the one for thin roofs! Others I know have the MaxxAir and are equally as happy but they claim it is a little quieter than the Fantastic Fan. Install was pretty easy for the Fantastic Fan.

I have had both Fantastic and MaxxAir, I prefer the MaxxAir with more standard options such as speeds, thermostat and use in the rain.
Also, welcome to the forum, your gateway to friends and advice.
