Do I see 2 thermostats in the kitchen galley? Picture# 6 shows a digital and a older coil type?

Robert could you provide a link to the Facebook Page - when one does a search of Facebook using the terms Oliver Trailers - trust me you dont land on anything that looks like a fiberglass trailer ;-)

I have only had the pleasure of seeing one Oliver a few years ago while camping in Tofino. It was a beautifully finished trailer the new ones sure look to be equally as so.

The new Oliver is really beautiful. I love the sleek look and the workmanship. But over 4,200 lbs. dry, it can't be towed by an SUV which is what I want to be driving. Will Oliver still be making the 17' model?
Thanks.

Interesting, I like the trolley top roof...maybe in 20 years i can find a used one and make it into a fiberglass gypsy vardo lol. I like the space inside, its similar to my interior or the side dinette models but tons of storage space. Could live year round in that babey.

The finished product is really nice.
And I appreciate factory build pictures too.

Hull number 4 looks like a single axle... New 17 footer? Or maybe it's from the last production cycle.

Yes, I think hull #004 is from the original models before they ended production. I did read on another site that Oliver may bring back the 17' once they have some 22' models built and sold.

Well over 4200 lbs. dry, add people, pets, full tanks and other stuff I am guessing would be over 5,000 easy. The only SUV I've seen that would handle that is the 6700 lb. towing capacity of the Jeep Grand Cherokee. And that car was just downgraded by Consumer Reports to one of the 10 most unreliable. Mostly due to the electronic systems.
I won't be buying for another year so I will be watching the progress of the Oliver carefully. I love the look and quality of them. But maybe not the price tag...

Want to tow a pretty dang heavy trailer with an SUV? Check out the Toyota Sequoia. Dennis & Charlene tow a Bigfoot 21' with their Sequoia. Nice tow vehicle!

Nissan armada, Toyota sequoia, chevy suburban/Tahoe/Yukon, ford excursion/expedition, dodge Durango...shall I go on?
Oh, and it's illegal to have people in your trailer while towing, unless it's a fifth wheel (in some states), and even then, not recommended.
A true 4200 lb dry weight could easily stay under 5000 loaded.

The Nissan Pathfinder 6 cylinder pulls 6,000 lb and the 8 cylinder pulls 7,000.

Anyone know the tongue weight of the Oliver. I know in the past it had a sliding tongue of something like 24" to offset trailer weight if needed.
