The Biggar, the better.

Hi There,
are there any Biggar owners on the form? I just bought a 1978 Biggar and would love to see what everyone have done to the interior/exterior. This is my forever trailer for retirement and I want to do it up right. Any info would be appriciated. Thanks, Marina

These are the members that registered with an RV type of Biggar... there maybe others. Appears John J. M is the most prolific of the bunch. Hopefully he'll drop in and share the info you're looking for. You know, you could start the conversation by posting pictures of the most needed-to-be-improved area of your own Biggar.

Marina, do a google search using fiberglassrv.com & Biggar as your search conditions and you will come up with a number of interior/exterior photos. there are also some on the Molded Fiberglass Trailers | Fiberglass RV's For Sale as well

Changes to the Biggar layout

Here are a few pictures of changes to the original layout of the Biggar. The closet has been moved to the door area. The bunk has been removed. The area behind the closet to the rear has a small dinette with a table that can be lowered to form a single bed. The dinette has overhead cupboards.

Essentially this layout accommodates three people comfortably. The original design was a bit restricted in that the bathroom could hardly be accessed when the goucho was arranged as a bed. the bunk was limited in space, and the original closet did not have a door.

My Biggar

Here are some of the pictures I took when i got my Biggar. I've stripped some of the stuff out now and it goes in on Friday to get some work done on it.

Thank, I'm getting excited about fixing it up. The orange cushions are in very good shape, so I'm keeping them and working with the colour. Looking at curtain material and patterns right now.
