2014 Cherokee, the 9 speed tranny handles the PL like a dream... Great gas mileage too!
I'm quite happy with the setup.

Thanks.. We've been considering the V6 with active drive II.. How does it handle long grades and mountains.. And what is great mileage?

We really haven't tackled anything like the Colorado Rockies but it handled the Blue Ridge Mountains quite well. Pulling nothing we get 29 to 31 highway (depending on speed). With the PL in tow it is from 18 to 20, again depending on speed.

Here's a photo from a distance of our little EggCamper parked among the giants at Gulf Shores State Park Camp Ground in Gulf Shores, AL, last Summer. The most common comment by passers-by was "Cute!"

The question we seem to get is: "does it have a bathroom"?

Just tell them it's bigger on the inside.

That was the most common comment people made when they saw the inside of our EggCamper..."it's bigger on the inside," (or words to that effect).

Per Rays comment"it's bigger on the inside".....
We are in Texas today and I couldn't resist a pic of my 6'5" nephew with my 5' wife inside the PL. For some reason it looks looks a little more roomy for her!Click image for larger version

She's a keeper, Sid! As for your nephew, are you glad you don't have that food bill?
