ParkLiner Winterize question?

I'm going to use my ParkLiner this weekend for the first time! However late into the night, the temps are supposed to drop into the upper twenties or low thirties. During the day temps will be in the forties. Should I be dry camping or with the heat on will I be okay? I'd love to be able to try out the bathroom facilities for the first time! Thanks!

The original upcoming weather forcast was suposed to be lows on sunday of 29' at night. Well I am camping this weekend and next weekend and didn't want to have to winterize it just yet. If it is only dropping down at night and you are using heat inside you should be ok...but I would winterize it before leaving it unheated with water in the tank/lines if it is getting close to freezing temps.

Ok thanks Deryk! I was hoping not to have to winterize or dump the fresh water tank before leaving.

if you will be using an external water supply, I would suggest you disconnect the hose. It could freeze at the connection. Have fun!!

Good point Jack. Maybe I should use my internal tank only. Boondock style.

Gail & I use a small electric heater when plugged to shore power. Those things are great in these little trailers and save on propane for boondocking and other propane powered pursuits.

Thanks Frank that's a good idea! I ended up not going this past weekend. I couldn't get away for more than one night and the temps dropped too low for us to do anything. Will look to mid November for another trip. Usually it's mild here until January or so.

Sure Tab, no problem. I just thought about it for our last trip of the season, and it really worked great. This electric heater we have is a very small one, and I ended up having to turn it down in the middle of the night. Easy to store as well. Enjoy!
