Beachcomber first outing!

Well the day has arrived! 2 year rebuild process ( really only 6 months, April till July 2012 then may 2013 till now) and I'm gonna spend my first night in it tomorrow. It's still not complete of course, but usable. This is how it will stay till fall, or early spring next year. I have to admit, I am gassed right out with this build, its just to hot! time to enjoy summer. If time was money I could have bought a brand new escape

Thanks! we did get a lot of looks, and quite a few stop in's at the campsite.
Everything went well with the trailer, but my van overheated. I'm going to have to take a look at that today.

Good for you Willis. I hope you get the van problem resolved inexpensively and soon. You've got lots of camping to do!

Thanks Donna! I fixed the van up today. The old radiator had split, I replaced it, and added an aux tranny cooler. Total time spent was just over 2 hours, and total bill under 3 hundred. Now I'm set to tow.

Cool beans Willis. It was probably money you hadn't planned on spending, but it COULD have been so much worse (neck strangling smilie here).

Next time you're out camping, post camping pictures!

Now I know I have a new radiator, and I don't have to worry about it on a long trip. Well worth the money in my books.

I will for sure post camping pics!
