Hi; We just joined Fibreglass.com. We're Joyce & Larry, from Fergus, ON. About an hour & 15 drive north east of Toronto. Didn't even know about this site. It's great!
We've had fibreglass trailers for a little over 12 years now. The first one was a 13'
Boler, but it needed a lot of work. I painted it, after a bunch of fibreglass repairs. It had been brush - painted. (Ugh!)
Fridge was toast. Cushions too. I gotta say we now wish we hadn't
sold the
Boler, it really had that classic "retro" look to it - but oh well.....Then we come across a
Trillium. A tiny bit wider. 6' 3" versus 6' wide for the
Boler. So if you're 6' tall, the
Trillium is nicer for sleeping.
Our '74
Trillium has a working 3-way
fridge & stove. Original flowery fabric on the cushions. Shelves over the beds. Doors below the bottom bunk bed. Better fitting doors. Oh, & it's 6' 3" tall inside, versus 6' tall inside the Boler.
Overall, a handy, roomier camper. We love it, and despite numerous offers, do not plan to sell it. It fits nicely nearly anywhere!
I've just repainted it to a more mainstream colour. The first
paint job was starting to feel out-of-date.
There's a
rally (for fibreglass campers) we go to every year, in southern Ontario. It'll be in Wainfleet, On this summer. July 22 - 25. See you there?
