Slide Window Glazing (98 Casita SD)

Hi all,
I just pulled the window glazing from the sliding Windows of our 98 Casita SD.
I have already purchased the new glazing from Pelland Enterprises (great selection and amazing prices).

My problem is this:
I installed the new glazing but now the windows are hard to open and won't close due to the glaze catching on the rounded window corners.

Is this something I should just install and let sit in the sun for a couple of days to "set" or mold?

I'll try and attach a picture to help explain.
