For the most accurate weights of any trailer check out the Oregon Gathering archives I know there is at least one Fiber Stream's weight listed on that rooster since the person who had done the weigh-in owns one. You could also email Frederick ( and Robert), because they are the people that have done the weighs ins and have a Fiberstream just to be sure. They would be a good resource on Fiberstreams also since they have done a lot of work to theirs.

Trailer listed as 66 & 71 is Fredericks trailer weighed twice.... apparently all those plastic flamingos he carries weigh a fair bit ;-))
If I am incorrect about the weight, my sorries, my research may have been wrong. I do know I have towed it long distance with a four cycle Toyota pickup (stick) for years, as well as with a V6 truck (very nice) and my current Ford Escape, all with no problems. Weighed once at 3,000#s at a truck scale, but was fully loaded w/ tanks full at the time.
This looks great! Unfortunately, we can't take enough time off right now to come and get it! We are in FL. If you still have it when the snow melts, we will come for it. When are you usually able to drive without snow tires in the spring?
I love your trailer. Is it inspected by any chance. I live in Nova Scotia and have relatives living in Toronto that possibly could pick it up. Please let me know. Email me here or at tmlforever@live.ca . Very interested I already have an Aer-Flo which is very rare but interested in getting a larger model with a bathroom. How many does it sleep. thank you Alison

Stated or advertized "dry weights", especially for trailers built in the 1970s and 1980s, are at best optimistic and at worst misleading. Yes, my Fiber Stream came with a "spec sheet" that was written by the dealer who marketed it when new, stating a 1700 pound "Dry Weight". I decided to engage Ronald Reagan's famous quote and weighed and re-weighed my my 1978 Fiber Stream, removing more and more parts of it that I thought should be included in the "Dry Weight" until I gave up; never getting the trailer down to 1700 pounds. The lightest I ever achieved was 2000 pounds, but that did not include the spare tire, the propanetanks, the battery, any holding tank hoses, fresh water hoses, or stabilizing jacks. I might have approached the goal IF I had removed the foam cushions and the roll-out awning.
We are truly sorry to have to put this information in your ad, but who ever tows around a totally "dry" trailer anyway?
THANK YOU for reporting your 3000 pound weigh-in.
Hi-
Interested in your trailer...do you know what would be involved in selling it to someone in the US? Are you near Kingston by chance?
Thanks

Since it has been a month since the original poster has been on this site, and their only activity has been within this one thread, my best guess is that they won't see any posts made here.
