1999 Burro front table

Hello, we keep going back and fourth trying to decide what to do with front dinette.
1) take it out and make a comfortable sofa, or
2) try to re-design the table set so we can use it.
The problem with the table as it is now is that the stove side is too deep to sit comfortably. But also you need to find a way to wiggle yourself into it between the kitchen counter and the table top. Then the side by the door is to narrow to sit at facing the table.
So our questions are what would all do? Take it out or fine a way to make it work?

Have a wonderful day
Cathy

How about making a sliding table? That way both sides of the dinette table are usable without making a smaller table.

That sounds good. Do you know where they are sold?
Thanks

Cut the kitchen side corner at an angle on the counter side. It doesn't need to be a big cut, just enough to pass thru. Add a storage box at the wall and that moves the cushion forward and gains you a place for "stuff".

I had a tupperware narrow tub back there and just draped a cloth over it to hide it..put the cushion against that.

what if you split the table 3 ways & hinged the 'wings' so they fold up out of the way until you get seated? just a thought
