We noticed that our travel plans will now pass through Niagara Falls on our trip from Atlanta GA to North Bay Ontario the same weekend as the rally. We weren't planning on hauling our Scamp this trip due to the long distance and short time frame for our trip (just the week and both weekends). Might have to reconsider now that we will be passing so close to a fiberglass group. If we do pass through without our Scamp, are there any group get-togethers scheduled for Saturday the 14th that would be convenient to stop by and say Hi to everyone? Are most people planning on arriving on the 13th and departing on the 15th?

Thanks in advance!

Even if you don't bring your trailer there will be many of us at the campground during the day & a pot luck in the evening. There is also a motel at the campground if your schedule fits an overnight stay without the Scamp. I'll be there on the 13th and leaving at checkout time on Sunday.

I just noticed that is Friday the 13th! For those of you not familiar with the area and the significance of the date, be prepared for a lot of motorcyles on the road. They are having their own rally of sorts.

We decided to bring our Scamp with us to North Bay after all. We'll actually stop by a fiberglass rally at Lake Erie state park in NY on the way, then a quick jaunt over to Riverside the morning of the 14th, and then to North Bay the 15th. Looking forward to meeting some of the more Northern fiberglass RVers :-)
Don't know our site number yet, they might not give it on a 1 day rental until closer to the day.

Trying to get it together for Niagra. We have an old Trillium 1300 that we just put back on the road. If passports come in time we'll be there. This would be our first FG rally, hope it all works out.

What rally is that John ?
I know there was one a few years back at that time, but I don't see anything for this year. There are a couple of people I know that might like to stop there on the way up.

Roy,
Here's the info on the Lake Erie state park gathering in NY. It was in the Scamp newsletter.

"Lake Erie State Park, New York - A fall gathering is planned for September 9-12, 2013. Make reservations through ReserveAmerica no more than 9 months in advance. (example, to arrive Sept. 9, reserve as early as Dec. 9, 2012). Sites 5 -30 are the preferred sites. Sites 10-20 will need a 50 amp to 30 amp adapter.

Scamps, and friends of Scamps are welcome to attend. There are no structured activities planned, although there will surely be campfires and potlucks.
Come prepared to have a good time. Please notify Steve McAdams if you plan to attend. stevemcadams@sbcglobal.net. or by PH: (417) 437-7489"

We are really looking forward to it. Never been to the falls. Wife got her passport just in time. Hers got held up because they did not like her picture. We had to resend a new pic.

Hi: msinger... I've heard of this before. Any smudge that looks like it could have been altered is a nono. On mine they certainly didn't use my best side either!!!

Unfortunately not in the cards for us this year. Too many outings on the same weekend and not quite enough of me to go around. Will be looking for photos next week. Have a great time..

Hi Alf!
Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend. Do you have a head count yet? Looks like this will be the biggest tour yet.

Count me in Alf - just there for the afternoon for the trailer tour (I'm assuming you're having one - if not wanna see yours and Jon's and any other Escapes that might be there.)
And of course there's the wine!
