"New" Cloud windows?

I have seen in a couple of threads, that people have been able to replace the large curved windows in a Cloud 13'. I think the front and back windows are the same....my rear window is good, the front one is a large piece of sheet metal screwed over a hole. Any ideas what was used as replacements?

Joel, I'm not familiar with the Cloud brand, other than I like to look at pictures. However, Scamp trailers typically have a large, curved front plexiglass window. The plexiglass is really a flat piece and the compound curve occurs when the window is installed.

Is the back window in your Cloud, installed with a rubber gasket and lockstrip? If so, you can purchase those materials from Scamp (sold by the foot), or check with a local auto glass company... like Speedy Auto.

Donna, thanks for info. Unfortunately, rear window is just a large square of plex screwed thru the body w/ a bucket-full of caulk smeared around it. Luckily they used the wrong kind of caulk so it peels right off. I'll check with glass shop Monday. Any ideas how thick plexiglass should be for safety and seal?

Glad you got some help! You will document with pictures your own install, won't you?
