Thanks guys! This thread turned into an "in search of" thread by me, so im going to let this thread die. Id like to start a new one and it will be my diary of all the mods i do as we go thru the years of using and owning this eggcamper! I plan to do a lot to it!

Heres the small bummer. I go in for achelies tendonitis surgery an a month, so i wont get much use shortly. We have one 5 day trip planned before surgery, then im down till maybe october. Uuuuggggg. Thats ok tho. The hard part is over - finding the egg!

We have owned a 2009 Eggcamper and recently had propane WH, furnace and cooktop added. My husband enjoys the headroom and width. We keep a log of our travels and have now clocked 424 Eggnites. We have taken 7 cross country trips lasting 5-8 weeks each and have been very Happy Campers. We are so grateful to Jim Palmer for his design.

Hi Rose,

If I may ask, are you running 205/75 14 tires with C rating? I'm looking into other tires but you have a lot of miles on your setup! Would be good info. Thanks!

Hi Rose,

If you would, please post some pictures of furnace and stove. Maybe even the water heater if you can. I think Joe and I both will be adding similar appliances and want to see what other EggCampers have done.

Thank you!

Jason

Hi Rose.....could I ask about the cooktop you installed? We are thinking about installing a small induction cooktop....any info would be appreciated.
Also just want to say that I admire your travels....longing to do that myself one day!

Those are the tires. We replaced them in 2014. Sorry we did not keep mileage records but we do high mileage trips from NC --- west coast, up into Alberta, up into New England, down to Florida quite a few times etc.

Dometic flush mounted 2 burner propane cooktop with glass cover. Love it !!

Before getting propane I used electric skillet and single burner electric - or the good old Coleman gas stove outside. Cooking in the cold weather is a lot nicer now!
