NOT going to sell this.. 1979 Bigfoot 17 Foot - Price Reduced $7000 US$
This Bigfoot was brought to Vancouver Island, British Columbia were I have spent months restoring it to a very nice looking and functional trailer. It pulls well, even with my 4 cylinder Nissan truck and weights about 2700 lbs on the road.
A lot of work has gone into this project, mainly upgrading the interior which now is a lot brighter.
Some pics show before and after renovations. The exterior paint and decals are original.
http://s1290.photobucket.com/user/jimmieddd/library/TOSHIBA/Bigfoot%20Reno?sort=3&page=1
3 coats Bullseye 123 primer and 3 coats exterior latex acrylic high grade paint in the interior
All 6 windows were removed, new screens put in and butyl taped before reinstalling the windows, and caulking put over the frames
New PD 4045 converter installed
New Dometic 3 way fridge installed
30 amp service and cord
2 new 110 receptacles added
2 new 12 v receptacles added
New tires
7 LED lights installed
Replaced dry rot panels around windows with birch plywood
New roof vents
New exterior door knob
New propane tanks and regulator and hoses
4 Burner stove
Oven just like new
Shower, basin & toilet in like new condition
New horizontal blinds
New cupboard fronts with door stops
Masonite removed from cupboard bottoms and replace with birch plywood and primed & painted
New exterior marker lights
New exterior light at door with switch in interior
Truck bed coating on roof
Propane detector installed
Smoke alarm installed
Wide mud flaps installed
2700 lbs on the road, pulled by a 4 cylinder Nissan Pick Up
There are two items I would like to mention:
1) The furnace only blows cold air
2) The battery is not holding a charge but works on AC
Asking $7000 OBO
I am sure the next owner will be proud to show off this Bigfoot and have lots of great camping experiences.

As the owner of an older BF, I'm just curious as to why was truck bed coating applied to the roof?

Truck Coating
The previous owner put a coating on when I bought it and it was peeling off, so recoated it just to make it look better.

Hi jimmied. You did a fantastic job with that trailer, I don't blame you for keeping it. I am looking for a similar unit for my young family but not too much avail. right now in AB.
