Fill it with water and crawl underneath it. If it is the freshwater tank., it might just be the valve. A fairly easy fix. If it's the tank itself (freshwater, grey, or black water) and you need to drop the tank, it's more of a project.

Oops, I just realized that in your post you used the word "camper" and my response was based on the assumption it was a trailer.

Leyda, the most helpful thing you can do is post pictures of where the problems are occurring. If the people who understand your trailer can see the problem that you see, they can give you better answers.

Some questions that you will probably want to answer first...
Did it just start leaking?
Where is the leak/ water showing up?
Is there unwanted water inside the trailer beyond the leak?
Has it been raining?
Did you recently fill the fresh water tank?
Did you turn on an electric water pump?
Are you connected with a hose to a fresh water source?
Do you have a manual water pump?

And these may not even be the questions that get to your answer.

This is a thread from another forum, where you might find more information that relates to your truck camper than you can find here. The truck layouts are somewhat different than trailers. It sounds like this is the same kind of issue you are having.

First, make sure it isn't your filler tube/hose. At that age, it could easily be degraded and cracked. It probably is connected with a hose clamp. The tank is a different story. It is probably ABS or Polypropylene. Some companies sell plastic repair products if it is the tank that is leaking.

If the crack is too big and you are near a farm, there may be someone there who can repair the plastic tanks used for water and chemicals, or tell you where you can get a repair made.

Make sure you don't have any leaking at the drain outlet either. Usually it's the little things that make big problems.

Now how to get that thing out to do any work on it would probably be better asked on the other forum I posted.

Good luck, and I hope it's something simple.

What exactly are you wanting help on? You should be able to find a replacement water heater. If you can't do the install yourself you'll need to pay an RV repair person.

I don't have experience replacing rotted floor. Seems like a big job.

We'll try to help but you'll need to try explaining what you want a little better.

Good luck!
