Husband is retiring and we have gotten a bigger trailer to do a bit more traveling. Wanted to post this on the
Fiberglass site before Craig's List….hoping it would go to someone who would appreciate and love the
Trillium as much as we do. Price is $6500 cash, no trades. If you have questions or need additional information send PM to my address at this forum. I will respond with phone & personal email. We live in Spokane, WA, USA
- Original owner added many handwritten notes to the literature that has traveled with the trailer. I believe I am the third owner and have kept all manuals and notes that were handed down. Original owner notes he bought the December 1980 ‘Deluxe Model’ Trillium 5500 in Fall, 1981.
- Dimensions listed as length (18 feet), width (90 inches), interior headroom (6’4”), and overall height (8’). We tow with a Honda Pilot. Fully loaded (water, supplies, etc) weight on truck scale was 2340lbs
- Standard features include 4 burner range with non-working oven. 3-way original 3.6 cu ft refrigerator(working), stainless sink, 2 20lb propane tanks, 2 newer golf cart batteries
- The trailer has electric brakes, water pump, washroom with sink, toilet and shower. Toilet flush trap leaks a small amount into the black water tank. I believe it’s a small fix
- 6 gallon hot water heater, the hot water heater pilot lights but we haven’t gotten it to start this year
- Original Coleman furnace replaced with a Suburban furnace with the same footprint to minimize damage to cabinets
- All windows and screens in good shape with original door and screen. Front windows have original rock guard and molded fiberglass propane tank cover in good condition.
- Carpeting was professionally installed by previous owner and is in good condition.
- Black water tank replaced several years ago (husband backed over a stump)
- Propane lines checked and pieces were repaired/replaced when the new furnace was installed
- Ensolite (elephant hide) in good condition
- No sink cover but the range cover is in good condition
- Insulated inside window coverings added several years ago
- New 14” tires and bearings packed - July 2014.
- Main vent ‘skylight’ replaced with 12 volt Eclipse fan
- Microwave (included) was built into seat box by front door
- The interior surfaces are woodgrain paneling with arborete kitchen counter most in good condition
- We leave the rear dinette permanently set up as a bed. Dimensions are 50” X 7’ 2”. I had a upholstery shop cut a custom firm foam bed fit the space and is included. Storage inside both bench seats and under the bed as well. Bed could easily be moved back to the two-dinette layout - all parts have been saved
- Front dinette dimensions when made into bed are 47” X 6’4”. Bench seats include storage underneath and back of front seat. Tons of storage!
- A newer model air conditioner fits into the ‘escape hatch’ window, stored under the bed and is included in with the trailer. Trailer techs told me the roof was not designed to carry a roof mount
- The trailer has been covered and/or stored in our garage since we got it. Yes! it fits in our garage! (9' door height)
- Hitch and newer sway bar included.
- Original blue & white stripe Trans-Awn works and is in good shape
- Covered spare tire mounted on back bumper
- Stabilizer feet at back of trailer - one is bent and needs repair
- Complete strip and cleaning of outer fiberglass done in 2014. High gloss polish applied. Some minor fiberglass damage under water heater. Has been painted and sealed.
