Cub Cadet Front window

I have a 1987 Cub Cadet. Last night heavy wind blew out my front window. Can i buy a replacement anywhere? Thanks!

Do you mean a "Taurus Cadet"?

They still make those trailers in Poland, don't they? There must be some way of getting another window. But there aren't very many Cadet or Captain owners on here, and maybe none of them have ever needed a replacement window....?

It may be possible for a place that makes windows or that deals in plexiglass to fabricate a new one. It may not be exactly like original but it should work. I know that Floyd put a new, nonstandard plexiglass window on the back of the Burro I bought from him; nothing fancy, but nothing wrong with it either.

I believe forum members have asked the British agent of Niewiadow Trailers - Freedom Caravans - for a price of a new window and decided not to buy due to its high cost.

They list a rear* kitchen window for some models at GBP230 with UK delivery and VAT (sales tax), so that's about $CAN 385 before the international shipping is added. You should be able to buy it without the (20%) sales tax but small companies that are not familiar with international sales usually find that very difficult.

* In addition to getting different names here, the trailers have the body mounted backwards to put the door on the British kerb/curb side - so I'm guessing that your front window is the smaller one (87 x 60 cm, 34.3 x 23.6in) that Freedom UK call a rear window. If it is the big one (British front, so presumably Canadian rear - 120 x 54cm, 47.3 x 21.3in) that is a whopping GBP395 or $CAN 660!

If it's a Plexiglas window I would make a template out of cardboard if you don't have the old window.
A plastic distributer should be able to cut you a new piece for a reasonable price.

Like most recent European trailer windows, it is a moulded plastic shape forming its own opening frame, so can't be replaced by a flat sheet of plastic unless a custom opening frame was built. It's probably cheaper and easier to have new custom (flat) window with opening and fixed frames made and then enlarge the opening in the body to allow that to be fixed in place.
