SOLD My 2012 ParkLiner 003 is up for Sale $15,500 - OBO

Yes, I know i said I would only sell it if I was moving up to a 5th wheeler or decided to buy a piece of land and build a cabin on it...well I have my eye on some properties.

Yup, I totally love my ParkLiner and have not been let down by it with my many offroad boondocking camping adventures! I just had the bearings repacked, trailer brakes replaced, and 2 new tires put on last week and came back from a 500+ mile trip to Virginia with no problems at all.

Last year I replaced my fantastic fan with Airxcel | Maxxair | Maxxfan Deluxe (Manual Opening) a much superior fan imho because of the louvers you can leave it open in the rain and the cabin stays dry inside. I had my fan open open all winter long and not any drips inside. I am very happy with its performance. I also added a 100 watt solar panel and charge controller. It is properly secured to the roof with an appropriate marine Blue Sea's Cable Clam for a waterproof pass through for the 2 cables running from the solar panel. The panel does a great job in moderate sunlight to keep the batteries topped off while I was running the heater at night and all the interior lights are LED's.

I made the first tiled back splash, ParkLiner after I sent them a photo of how nice mine came out they now offer it as an option. I have recovered my cushions and bought a futon that I use as a wrap around couch during the day and at night could open up to a queen sized bed. I still have the original cushions and the large dinette table top. I am not having any dinner parties and with the couch and side dinette I can sit 6 people inside easily and have at rainy events. There is a 12 volt plug near the galley and one above the side dinette.

The Battery Box mod has been completed with 2 new batteries. I have the original flexrider axle that ParkLiner offered on the original trailers. It is still at the factory setting and can easily be adjusted upwards in the future when it starts to sag(they all will eventually). I take mine offroading and I have zero rub spots even from potholes. It was only after ParkLiner switched to a cheaper axle that those models started having tire rub issues.

Everything works great, no problems...the only 2 things i would consider replacing is a new porta pottie (it works but I would buy a new one if it was me) and the white plastic cover over the 2 propane tanks...its a bit dirty and doesn't seem to scrub up as clean, and the little cover on the top of it that can be flipped open to open or close the valve on the propane tank...well it mustn't have been tightened down and came off while towing. Doesn't effect its function...but would make the trailer look a bit nicer...but hey that is up to you...to replace both would be about a $100

20 lb Heavy Duty Propane Tank Cover - Polar White - Camco 40523 - Propane Bottle Covers - Camping World.

Porta Potti Portable Toilets - 260B - Thetford 92859 - Portable Toilets - Camping World

Included is the BAL leveler, and a set of the yellow leggo block style blocks. Now I have the original awning that I made for it. I love the way it looks, but was my first attempt at an awning and its a bit "saggy" and doesn't do well in rain. I bought one of those Gander Mountain shelter's that Thom uses...well the first one had a rip in the cover got a replacement but was end of the season last year...set the new one up and taking it down the elastic piece in the fiberglass tubes came loose on one... so I need to call them..again. I also have a weight distribution hitch that I used when I had my Rav4.

Any Questions, please feel free to ask.

Please reserve your comments to potential buyers of this trailer.

However, Deryk has been a valuable member of FGRV and we'll miss him!! So there's a discussion thread link below where I've shifted the well wishes, and we can keep chatting. You can link to it here:

Hi Ted!

Yes the ParkLiner does have a shower, and a cabinet in the bathroom that the porta potty slides into out of the way...makes the shower area larger.

No rivets like casita or scamp use to hold in the cabinetry....it is all epoxied in place. There was a pic up on the ParkLiner site at 1 point that had a large guy hanging from the cabinets. I like the fact it removes the entire problem with rivet maint. if you don't have someone to help you with it...less concern with dripping inside.

Yes there is a 5k btu air conditioner under the side dinette. I replaced the original fantastic fan with the much better maxxairr fan because if it is raining outside the maxxair fan can still be open and running because of the louvers. Much better design.

Interior Length: 12′
Interior Height: 6′ 5″
Interior Width: 6′ 10″

any questions feel free to ask or private message me

Ted, no cable tv, can always be added. And yes it has a 3 way (ac/dc/propane fridge.)

no problem ask what ever you would like to know.

Can't be too hard to put cable in a Parkliner if I did it! Somewhere on FGRV is probably a blow-by-blow of the install. I just can never find anything here.

yeah, would be easy to bring it in where the umbilical cord comes into the parkliner, or along side in the closet where I ran the wires from the solar charge controller to the batteries. That would be an easy mod. I am not a "tv" person....internet is more important to me for netflix lol.

We did ours as much as anything for web access. I mounted a TV in the trailer, and the only time it got watched was when we had big weather. I doubt we'll ever use it much, but it's good to have sometimes. I need a DVD player so I can run rock 'n roll concerts when I'm bored!

I closed my umbilical cord door off when I mounted a 30 amp outlet in the door itself. I also mounted a cable plug in the door that comes in and splits, one for a modem, the other up through the cabinets for the TV.

Bunk Bed?

Is there a spot to add the bunkbed? Also, can I buy a bunk bed from Parkliner that fits on top of the side bed?

All these Parkliners are basically the same. The bunkbeds are simply some 2X4's and cushions and a few holes drilled here and there. I don't think they would be tough to add. Having said that, the ones that came with our trailer are real nice looking.

The modifications people seem to be interested in are all relatively simple. Anyone who buys any trailer seems to modify it with this and that for their own way of living.

For Cable and Sat TV we added a metal, water proof outlet with cover for two Tv connections. It required the drilling of two small holes through the fiberglass, really a 1/2 hour job by any one or any RV professional.

The reality is once you get any RV, even when you have it built to order, you will think of little and big things you want done. Just about everyone on the site has been down that road, even the most experienced fiberglass trailer user. It's not unlike buying a house. You will make it your own.

I have been in Parkliners, they are nice trailers and Deryk is a serious fiberglass trailer owner.

We liked ours as it is, but gee, we have to personalize it! About all we need to do is flush the freshwater system and install the batteries. Our 1st planned trip is June 19, so I am not pushed. Plus we'll be towing it with our Escape (thanks again Norm)!
