2000 17' Burro water heater "Anode"

I'm spinning my wheels trying to find an anode that has electrical
connections rod is 4 inch in length
I need to cover the end with water proof boot
I could change the wiring to fit

Mine is a Atwood G6A-7 gas/electric...but most G6A-7 are gas only
I thought that's strange
Found some water heaters gas/electric $400
Goofy web leads you in circles

Mine reads 75 Ohms...read it should read 12-14, that maybe misleading
Have some ideas posted for me to check out at this site,but strange
it worked before I drove back home.

Maybe I should go back to square one and check out all the circuits

Heater was set at 90 degrees when I bought it, I was still in Calif
and I set it up to 150 degrees worked great...got home now it
will not heat...I checked the reset button...it's position is in, I'm
baffled
When I fill the propane tank I guess I can see if it works with propane
I like the idea of gas/electric option.

Post pictures if you can, it sounds like someone added a cartridge heater element like a hot rod or lightning rod to a standard water heater. The anode being referred to would not have wires on it. An anode is a piece of zinc compound that is designed to be dissolved by the water before it rots or eats your tank, and is threaded into one of the bungs on the tank

May have been a drain plug and some one installed
a cartridge heater element.
Maybe I should have said heating element
My hot water heater is a electric/gas (propane)
most are now propane only.
I found an electric/gas for $400 plus...they are becoming rare I read.
Mine is shaped like an anode and the terminal has two male prongs
that the cord fastens to.
Not like most that have two threaded screws with a U shape rod.
It's possible somebody added it, if so they did a nice job.

I looked at cartridge elements and that's what it looks like,only it looks like original installation.

If you pull the cartridge. Out and check it over carefully you may find a part number on the element that you can look up on line or start googling cartridge heaters until you find the right one
