Second Anniversary

We got our ParkLiner two years ago this week, and love every day we get to spend in it. We've taken 14 trips in 24 months, and traveled 11,000 miles, camping in 8 states, with destinations on average about 400 miles from home. Looking forward to many more!

Congratulations!
Our 2 year is in late March but miles traveled is quite similar to yours.
A nice side effect to owning a FG camper is it seems the world gets bigger the smaller you go and consequently the more spots you can fit it in.
Happy camping in the coming years Tammi!

Just practicing for retirement!
Our next trip is in February, to a state park in Florida. We were surprised to find a spot available that week, as it's near a major venue with a big event the following week. Maybe it's due to our compact size, because this park limits RVs to 34' and under. We're not small, we're "travel-sized"!

I'm the baby of the group, won't have 2 years until September and not nearly as many miles as Tammie and Sid but I sure found that my little trailer fit into some of the best spots this summer that the bigger rigs couldn't come close to fitting in. I have met people everywhere I go, it is so funny that "Folly" is just like a magnet, everyone wants to see inside and I am always delighted to show her off. I am keeping everything crossed that there will be more of these gems made, I know there are a number of people that are wanting one. OK Tammie and Sid I think we really need to start working on a PL rally. I am willing to be the contact, it would be so much fun to meet fellow PL owners.

Vic and I are originally from Michigan (lopers from the west side of the state) and would be up for it! We were just discussing a trip to the dunes and a pilgrimage to our favorite pizza bar in Grand Haven last night.
Really anywhere in the state that's convenient for you we could make work!

I think after New Years I will try contacting people I can find through here. It would be a shame to lose track of all the fellow PL owners. Then we can figure out when and where. Sid, I didn't know you and Vic were from here. What took you to Minnesota?

30 years ago it was the economy.

Tammie, Michigan is a beautiful state to visit. I have never been involved in anything like this but there is always a first time for everything. It would be great fun.

Pat, If you are not aware, there is a "Parkliner Owners" Facebook group with way more followers (30,000+) than there are owners, so that would seem to be a good place to start if you want to reach some owners to plan a PL rally.

It looks like the most recent PL Facebook group post was over a year ago, so I'm not sure how many PL owners frequent it. But mayhaps you can help rejuvenate interest in it. That, or encourage those members to be more active on this forum. Either way, it would be nice to have the bulk of interested PL owners talking among yourselves on one site or the other to help plan rallies, etc. Such efforts usually just need one dedicated person to pull it together and make it happen. Best of luck....
